Okay, so...guilty as charged.

I'm trying to get back on the wagon this week. It's not so much that I've fallen off, but have been rather dragged behind said wagon, lol. Oh, can I tell you how far down I've gone....guess I got a bit depressed and I didn't even realize it. I don't give a crap about my weight. I just want to feel good. I can look at myself at any weight and say, "Damn, you've still got it, Girl," but if I physically feel like hell, it's worthless. So, I will blog here as I attempt to get hardcore about health and fitness again. Honestly, I can't even remember how I ever got there in the first place at this point. Baby steps, I guess. But, I'm gonna find my footing again, starting today. The junk food stops now. This is me, clawing my way back from KFC buffet....

intake and recipe

I ate quite a bit again today but I feel really good...

-green lemonade
-2 pounds of red grapes
-salad(romaine,tomato, crumbled raw sunflower flax crackers, liquid gold elixir)
-Lara bar(coconut cream pie) omg! yuum
-4 dates
-3 large leaves of romaine spread with raw almond butter/raw honey mixture
-classic raw salad with raw ginger carrot dressing
-3 raw goat cheese cabbage "sandwichs"
-lightly steamed sweet potato with braggs liquid aminos
-1/3 organic 70% dark chocolate bar

Raw Goat Cheese Cabbage Sandwich

Organic Dijon mustard
3 leaves red or green cabbage
6 thin slices raw goats milk cheese
Banana Nut Bread with Cream Cheese

Banana-Nut Bread
2 cups vegetable juice pulp (preferably at least half of it carrot pulp)
8 tbsp ground flax or chia
¾ cup chopped walnuts
¾ cup raisins
5 bananas

Mix together the veggie juice pulp and bananas in a food processor. Add in the ground flax or chia and let the food processor run until the seeds are completely mixed in.
Transfer the mixture to a bowl with the walnuts and raisins and mix them in thoroughly by hand. Shape into a loaf. For major yumminess, top with ‘Cream Cheese’ (see below).
Cream Cheese
Flesh of three avocados
9 dates
juice of 1 or 2 lemons
big handful of dulse

Blend the ingredients in a blender. Serve on top of banana-nut bread, or just eat on its own ;)

That’s it – super-easy, a good way to recycle juicing pulp and VERY yummy – well, we like it anyway…we were actually laughing a great deal to imagine how we’d have reacted in our pre-raw days if given this kind of meal…well, try it, you might like it... ;)
